Warmwater trout

Ok so they are not trout at all, but I always liked catching them, and they are colorful like trout, and love cold water too, and they sort of have a trouty shape...
the underrated Perch...

I took this one with my "Lake Jeff Special" 8' glass rod, and my favorite warmwater streamer, the bumblepuppy in a size #6. CJ

Ohhh, come on narco, glass is classic too! I even asked Kuttner what he uses and he replied "well boy,... I just fished this Fenwick last week" and damn, that rod was nice! CJ

Well, you caught him at a rare time, cause he usually has a funnel he pours the beer into, and it goes from there to his throat! You have to do these things in the most time conserving way possible, we only had 2 days to hang out! CJ

I love catching perch, great to eat too!
The CFFCM pond has some very large ones. I got quite a few 14" this year and a friend of mine has gotten larger.

Jimmy Krul just told me that the Willow got into the museum pond, I hope it didn't wash away all of Joe's perch with the fish derby next Sat.
